Just because we are the gay space here... I thought we should give a little background on some gay history! Here's a little snippet from Congressman Barney Frank whom I've had the pleasure of sharing time with at the Boatslip in Provincetown!

Open Forum!

Anyone want to discuss some hot topics such In the news right now? I am curious to other opinions out there! Or anything else that's on your minds for that matter. Here's a few topics:

-NBC's decision to hire Isaiah Washington for the Bionic Woman remake (I totally think everyone is entitled to a second opinion... but still up in the air about this one.)

-Fort Lauderdales Mayor Jim Naugle blaming gay men for the problem of sex in public toilets and parks around the city (I think this guy is a froot loop, I mean, yeah... sometimes a little tea room action is great, but come on... DIDN'T SOMEONE TELL HIM HE'S THE MAYOR OF FT. LAUDERDALE???)

-Thoughts on the movie 'Chuck & Larry', starring Kevin James and Adam Sandler (Haven't see it yet...)

-The Democratic You Tube debate (Just let me know who won...)

-The moral issue of nursing homes issuing condoms to residents who want to engage in frolic! (If they want it... they aren't dead yet...)
What are your comments??

You got Hijacked!!

Were you one of the lucky ones to get Apple's new iphone a few weeks ago... or since then for that matter? Be careful what websites you visit. Hackers that hack computers could have the same effect on your iphone, much like the same way hackers hijack home computers to send malicious spam or viruses. The Edge Provincetown has a feature detailing the article on this possible problem with iphone... follow this link!

Uhm... Good or Bad??

If this can stop the spread by malicious intent, which seems to be happening more frequently everywhere... I guess it's a good thing. Click the link to read the article about lawmakers in Indonesia's Papua. They are mulling the selective use of chip implants in HIV carriers to monitor their behaviour in a bid to keep them from infecting others, a doctor said Tuesday.

It just gets worse....

As if Lindsay just couldn't get a break... She's really screwed now! Rehab must have been really productive (insert sarcasm here). Really... Can't these celebritys that make mucho buckos hire a driver?? Or better yet... take a cab girl!

D'oh!!!

Rolling out the yellow carpet, the "hometown" (Springfield, Vermont) of Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and Maggie played host Saturday to the premiere of "The Simpsons Movie," with creator Matt Groening among thousands who turned out to toast the debut. The film's producers were also in the crowd celebrating the TV cartoon family's first full-length film.
Streets were closed off, costumed Simpsons lookalikes walked through the crowds and blue-haired fans vied for tickets to one of four showings of the movie at the 212-seat Springfield Theater, the first of which was by invitation only.

Dubya' Bush!

Well apparently George W Bush had five polyps removed from his colon. CNN reported this afternoon they are not cancerous. This means he will be able to finish out his term till the bitter end (Detect sarcasm here...) I guess the only polyp left for them to remove... Is his head!

Late for work... AGAIN?

Here's the top 10 most unusual excuses for being late to work via MSN Career By Rosemary Haefner, Vice President of Human Resources for CareerBuilder.com

Here are the top 10 examples of the most unusual excuses employees offered their managers for arriving late to work:

1. Someone was following me, and I drove all around town trying to lose them.

2. My dog dialed 911, and the police wanted to question me about what "really" happened.

3. My girlfriend got mad and destroyed all of my undergarments.

4. I woke up and thought I was temporarily deaf.

5. I just wasn't "feelin' it" this morning.

6. I was up all night arguing with God.

7. A raccoon stole my work shoe off my porch.

8. I super-glued my eye thinking it was contact solution.

9. I was putting lotion on my face when my finger went up my nose causing a nose bleed.

10. A prostitute climbed into my car at a stop light, and I was afraid my wife would see her and think I was messing around... so I got out of the car.

The Arch... And not the golden ones!!

The famed St. Louis Gateway Arch will be open today after a power outage on Saturday that trapped about 180 people.
The landmark's deputy superintendent says the power was out for about two hours, stalling two trams filled with about 40 people each. Mike Maris says one of the nine cables on the south tram might have snapped. That tram will not be in service when the Arch reopens.
The outage stranded another 100 people who were at the top of the 630-foot-high monument watching a fireworks show. Some of the visitors used the stairs to get out. Others took the tram when power was restored.
Anxious relatives waited outside, along with dozens of emergency vehicles. Rescue crews treated two people: one needed oxygen, the other is diabetic.
The Gateway Arch opened in 1966 and is run by the National Park Service.

George Dubya (dumbass) Bush

Well this just in!!! George W Bush, yes... the one running our country at this very moment (Help us please!) Is scheduled to undergo a routine colonoscopy. While this is happening... Dick Cheney (the vice president... What? You didn't know we had one??) is to become president temporarily during the two and a half hour procedure. We can only hope he doesn't shoot anyone else and that the doctors forget to sedate 'Dubya' during the procedure! Maybe then Georgie will actually feel like what it is to get it up the ass!
