Fall Colors!!

Looking for a great place to see fall foliage, hike, bike or boat this autumn? How about great, fun guys and a nice roaring campfire on a cool fall evening? Look no further than the Deerfield Mens Campground in Deerfield New Hampshire. Just an hour and 15 minutes North of Boston. Great hosts!! It's a small intimate setting on a nature preserve, complete with main house for evening wine socials and large yard with beautiful gardens... but enough wilderness to keep you cozy. It's Thursday!

It's a gray overcast, chilly 60 degrees in the Boston area today. Boy am I glad I was on vacation last week and not this one! The weather isn't helping my post vacation funk I've been in the last few days. I feel like I lost a best friend or something... actually my BF and I have been quits for the last 4 weeks even though we went to P-Town together, which went surprisingly well. We had a great time and a lot of fun together and apart, although now all our obligations planned together are done... it's time to move on I guess. There are other fish in the sea... Right?

What do you guys do to move on? Any suggestions? Not that it's real hard... but those few moments when you realize someone is not there. Hobbies...

FRIDAY!!!!! VACATION!!!!

Hello everyone... sorry about the technical difficulties, but if you were affected by the latest update from FREAKIN' Mcafee virus software... then you know what I'm talking about!! Pain in da butt!!! But on a lighter note... I'm off for vacation to Provincetown... HAPPY TUESDAY!!!

The picture above I snapped at sunset on Race Point Beach last year in P-Town! It's one of my favorite! I am one more day closer to Friday before vacation to Provincetown! I can't wait! A few friends of mine and I are staying at Dexters Inn in the center of town! Great place and great people! Just the week long event of carnival and doing whatever I feel like is enough to keep me daydreaming until Friday! Is anyone else going next week??? Just TRAGIC!!!

This is a very sad story out of Minneapolis this morning! One of the main roads into downtown Minneapolis, 35W, collapsed in rush hour traffic last night. The number of people dead was lowered from 7 to 3... but officials expect it to rise again once cars submerged in the Mississippi River under the debris are recovered. I lived in Minneapolis for 10 years and traveled 35W every morning and night from home. It's very scary to think and hear about this!

Provincetown Carnival!

Are you going to Carnival week in Provincetown?? It's August 11 - 19th, and the theme this year is Fairy Tales! You can order tickets or check out the event list for the week here! Judy Tenuta is headlining the closing party concert on the 18th and is the Parades grand marshall! Crazy, Crazy week!! My personal favorite is the boat cruise on Tuesday night.
